Awana is a mid-week program that offers a fun, proven approach for equipping children with God’s word by getting their hands in the Bible and storing God’s words in their heads and heart. Through daily readings, scripture-based programs, and exciting games, Awana helps kids develop a lifelong faith in Christ.
Freedom ministry is designed to open your eyes to the spiritual warfare surrounding you and empower you to learn how you can remove any oppression from the enemy you may be experiencing. Through classes and individual sessions, you will learn about forgiveness, your authority in Christ, who God is, who Satan is and who you are.
Frontline ministry is made up of volunteers that love to serve others. This team is responsible for greeting every person that comes into Greenville Community Church, as well as answering any questions and pointing people in the right direction. Frontline ministry consists of greeters, ushers, café workers, and church security volunteers.
Kid’s Kingdom is designed for newborns through fifth grade and meets every Sunday morning during both the 9:30AM service and the 11:00AM service. Team leaders will inspire discovery and invite children into a new understanding of how to grow in a relationship with Jesus where hope will be built, and lives will be changed.
Through strategic partnerships in our community, our nation, and our world, God is building hope and changing lives. Through sacrificial giving and regular mission trips, GCC is making a difference by serving those in need and being the hands and feet of Christ.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)
MOPS is designed for soon-to-be moms, first-time moms or seventh-time moms. Whether you are an adoptive mom, young mom, seasoned mom, foster mom, stepmom or any other type of mom, this ministry is for you. Join other moms where you will laugh together, learn together, and share life together.
TRIBE is for sixth grade through twelfth grade students and meets from 6PM-8PM on Tuesday nights. TRIBE provides a place for students to BELONG to something bigger than themselves where they will serve their community, learn to be more like Christ, and have fun playing games and making memories.
WORSHIP AND CREATIVE ARTS
The Worship and Creative Arts team use their talents, passion, compassion and zeal to create an atmosphere where God can build hope and change lives. If you are gifted in singing, playing an instrument, running a sound board, lighting, video or technology, we would love to talk to you more about serving on our team.
YOUNG AT HEART
Young at Heart is for those age 50 or above and is designed to build relationships through fellowship, fun, and family. Young at Heart meets on the second Thursday of every month at noon for a potluck lunch in the church gymnasium and every Wednesday at 4PM at Jacket Lanes in Greenville for fellowship, food, and bowling.
