Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change that occurs when you place your faith in Jesus. This transformational step is a public declaration and opportunity to share with others your intent to follow Jesus in every area of your life.

2 Corinthians 5:17 -
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

A staff member would love to talk with you about this if you feel like a conversation would help.

  • Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision. It is the public testimony of your faith and trust in Jesus. It’s a bit like putting on a wedding ring. Your ring declares your love for your spouse and it declares you belong to them. Baptism does the same. It is also very symbolic of the death and resurrection of Jesus. As you are lowered into the waters, it symbolizes death and burial with Jesus and as you come up from the waters it symbolizes your resurrection into new life with Jesus.
